Johba Life is Japan's premier Equine publication, publishing 100,000 copies per issue.
Through Don's life in Japan, Hilm came to the managing Editor's ( Chiaki Makiura) attention. Chiaki Makiura wanted to do an article on Hilm for Johba Life.
Rebecca Boardman of Boardman Arabians wrote the original text from which the article was taken. The article was titled: "The Dream born between the Mother and the Daughter, one day it became an Arabian Horse"
Chiaki Makiura had such a great response to the first article that she decided to make a visit to Hilm in 2005. She traveled with Tanaka Masafumi, "Champion endurance rider, author and president of the Japanese Endurance Riders Association of Japan" as her interpreter.
They arrived on St Patrick's day 2005 and spent 3 days at the farm with Hilm and His mares.
The resulting article was titled "Horses in our life, Visiting the Horsemen who get the lifestyle living with horses in the USA"
