Ralvon Stud was begun in 1954 by Mr and Mrs Ron Males, they acquired the grey stallion *Rikham as their foundation sire in 1962.

Prior Springmead imported *Rikham used him over *Rakib’s daughters. *Rikham sired the full sisters Springmead Lindi Loo and Springmead Rosilande (from Springmead Rose by *Rakib). Lindi Loo was the dam of Springmead Lucy Anna (by Apple Jack) was one of the most prolific endurance producing mares. Lucy Anna had six endurance get, including five Tom Quilty buckle holders. Not to be outshone by her sister, Springmead Rosilande, won her led class at Sydney Royal and was the dam of Springmead Electra (by Carthage), who completed the 1976 Tom Quilty.

While owned by Ron and Val Males, *Rikham produced many noteworthy offspring but the best would have to be the illustrious Ralvon Pilgrim out of Trix Silver.

Rikham sired 72 foals during his breeding career.
